5-passengers. The 2008 Ion from Saturn is available in 9 trims - ION
2 Quad Coupe Automatic, ION 2 Quad Coupe Manual, ION 2 Sedan
Automatic, ION 2 Sedan Manual, ION 3 Quad Coupe Automatic, ION 3
Quad Coupe Manual, ION 3 Sedan Automatic, ION 3 Sedan Manual, and
ION Red Line Quad Coupe. Upon introduction, the 2 Sedan Manual trim
of the 2008 ION is powered by a 2.2-liter, I4 engine generating a
horsepower of 140. A standard 2.0-liter, I4 engine delivering a
horsepower of 205 motorizes the Red Line Quad Coupe. A 5-speed
manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims.
