The
2008 GTI is equipped has curved a niche for itself as most enjoyable
compact car. The car is equipped with 1.8-liter turbocharged
inline-4 engine capable of delivering 180 horsepower at 5500 RPM and
173 pound-feet of torque at 5000 RPM. 5-speed manual transmission
system has made the engine productive. The engine is available with
6-speed manual, 4-speed automatic and 5-speed automatic Tiptronic
transmission system. Also to watch out for its standard safety
features such as premium AM/FM/cassette/CD stereo with eight
speakers, height-adjustable front seats, anti-theft system, remote
keyless entry, power and heated side remote mirrors, cruise control,
power windows, power door locks, air conditioning etc.

2008 GTI ensures safety of the occupants with three-point safety
belts for all three rear seats, side curtain protection system,
child safety seat anchors, dual front and side airbags and antilock
brakes. The Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) is optional. The
2008 GTI has been assembled in Mexico. The 2008 GTI can haul up to
